DESCRIPTION:Family Day at the Zoo hosted by the Greater Albuquerque Medical Association is New Mexico's premier event for physicians and their families. Spend an evening celebrating quality time with your family and fellow physicians at the Albuquerque Zoo with food\, fun and friends. Located next to the Rio Grande in Albuquerque\, the Zoo has been offering guests close encounters with exotic and native species from six continents in lush\, naturalistic habitats on 64-acres since 1927. this event is free for all GAMA members and their families! More information coming soon!Registration is limited to GAMA members and their families. If you are an Albuquerque-area physician\, but not currently a GAMA member\, please email Jason.Espinoza@gamamed.org to learn how you can become a member.Live music will be provided by SWAG (the band)\, which is based in Albuquerque and plays tunes from a variety of musical traditions\, including jazz\, blues\, Motown\, folk\, musical theater\, and rock. Vocalist Abby Maxwell fronts the band\, with a little help from her friends in the string section\, Rick Dorin on fingerstyle guitar and Guy Lagerway on bass.
